Mike Weatherley, Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Brighton Pavilion, has launched the General Election campaign in his usual innovative and energetic style.  Crime has been a key issue of Mike’s crusade to make Brighton Pavilion a better and safer place to live and work.  To highlight his ‘Bring Back Our Bobby’ initiative, students – some dressed in cops and robbers costumes and the rest in ‘Mike Weatherley’ T-shirts - handed out leaflets outside Brighton Station setting out Mike’s key pledges to the people in the constituency.

“Since I was selected as the Conservative Candidate for Brighton Pavilion, more than a year ago, I have met thousands of wonderful people.  I would like to thank everyone for the warm and friendly response.  It is clear to me that the vast majority of people feel let down by Labour.  On May 5 they have a chance to make their voices heard at the ballot box.  There is a clear choice at this election.  More talk, spin and broken promises under Labour.  Or action under Conservatives.  I have immensely enjoyed the campaign so far, and look forward to continuing to put over the Conservative priorities that will benefit everyone.  More police, cleaner hospitals, lower taxes, school discipline, controlled immigration.  A positive message of how as the next MP for Brighton Pavilion I will represent the central section of this great city.”
