Weatherley's speech to local residents about the redevelopment of Shoreham
Harbour One of the big issues coming up is the potential redevelopment of Shoreham Harbour with high density housing. In a recent speech to Portslade residents, Mike Weatherley said: “I remain concerned about over development in areas that struggle to provide the infrastructure to match. Infrastructure before Expansion. If a huge block of flats is going up we need car parking, doctors surgeries, schools and - in the case of Shoreham Harbour - a decent link road. But if a road cannot be put in, then the scheme must be reviewed. It is not development at all costs – it must be development with full consultation with the local residents.”
